Had the late night munchies in Baltimore and found Water Street Tavern. It was a little over 9pm and several restaurants were already closed and was recommended to check out Water Street Tavern. We were able to get seated at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. It was a slow night and was happy to see us. We order some wings and fries to go with a few libations while my friend ordered the meatloaf. I know who orders meatloaf late night? Food was promptly served and hit the spot, glad we stopped by and added Water Street Tavern to our favorites. Highly recommend anyone visit if they're in the area.

While spending the night in Baltimore I stopped in here for lunch because it was really close to the hotel I stayed in. I came because the reviews online were decent. When I got there, it was relatively dead, which was around noon on a weekday. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and quick to greet me. The venue looks like the typical dive bar, with lots of Key West decoration. I asked her what was good and she suggested a few things, including their crab cake sandwich and being in Baltimore, I decided to try it. The sandwich was really good and the remoulade that came with it complimented it quite nicely! The fries were piping hot and tasty as well. I didn't try the cole slaw that came on the side as it looked warm and not very fresh. Overall, I enjoyed the food and can definitely see how this is a popular place for drinks and bar bites.

Place really is a dive bar which appeals to me. The large group I was with had a great time and the bartenders got drinks out in a timely manner. No music not even a radio which was a bummer but overall great place.

I really enjoyed my time at the Water Street Tavern. I'm not sure what the "Key West Patio Bar" has to do with it, but nonetheless I enjoyed them so much I returned every night while I was in Baltimore. It's not quite a dive but puts off that vibe, maybe a clean dive if that makes sense? I believe there are a few different bars, I only sat at the one up the steps when you walk in. The bartenders were all phenomenal, on their game and very personable. The regulars were the same, nice people that make you enjoy where you are. I only had the wings here (and more than once), because they were so good. They're around $11 which is extremely cheap for wings today. I love my wings cooked well and crispy and these certainly fit that bill. They're not breaded (which I also prefer) and being as I was in Baltimore I ordered them with Old Bay. Perfectly seasoned all over. Honestly some of the best wings I have ever had. This place is cool, the food it great as is the staff and the prices are perfect. If you're in or around the Inner Harbor, seek them out and have a great time.

We were in town to watch the Minnesota Twins take on the O's at Camden Yards. After the game ended, we were looking for a place open late that served food. The first place we searched closed the kitchen earlier (before 10pm on a Monday - which understandable, but they were to be known for a late kitchen). All that said, we hit a home run in finding Water Street Tavern. We felt welcomed right away by service staff and Jodi was great! Served us up two excellent margaritas to start! We ordered their wings, which they boast as "our famous Tavern Wings" and they DID NOT disappoint. We went with the Classic Buffalo with side or ranch and celery. The wing temperature came out steaming hot. The wings (4 drumettes and 4 flat) were cooked perfectly with a great crunch. the classic buffalo had good flavor, although we would have liked a little more spice. My spouse ordered the Tavern Club and shared that it was a great club sandwich with fresh ingredients and a well balanced club sandwich with a side of fries. I went with the Chicken Caesar Wrap with blackened chicken. A well dressed wrap that had an excellent Caesar flavor. We would definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you are looking for a late night spot in Baltimore...they were taking orders after 11:00pm on a Monday night! We would definitely come back, especially for the wings. The wings are half-priced during Happy Hour on Tuesdays (3:00-7:00pm). Rated 5 for food and service as what we ordered tasted great and was a good value. We also rated atmosphere a 5 being a late Monday night and the place had a fair amount of tables occupied and seemed like patrons were enjoying themselves. The Key West Patio that is outside and part of the Water Street Tavern was full and seemed to have a great vibe!

Trying something new...after a long day of tournament play a couple colleagues and I walked from our hotel and, of two menus posted outside the restaurants, this one had more variety. We entered through the bar and around to get upstairs for the dining room. It's a cute little place. I noticed a stand alone fireplace on the way out. Stephanie, the name on the receipt, brought menus right over and took our order for drinks. I had bottled water with me. I ordered the Quesadilla with Blackened Chicken. It was delicious and very filling.
